well, the school year is officially over, but there are a few matters we need to wrap up. :D
1. C&D FUNDRAISING
for the marshmallows-on-sticks right, i think dom is able to buy the items needed. shihui can sponsor the marshmallows, so uh.. that shall... be the case? >< as for generally, for the roasting of marshmallows on the day itself, we will need an oven or hotplate or toaster or something that works, i guess... hopefully we will get a powerpoint... cause im not very sure we will.
bubble tea! gaoge and dom very kindly went to check with the bubble tea shop today and they have paid the deposit and ordered the flavours.
do remember to bring class fund on monday of $4 if you havent paid. its urgent ok, so do remember! we need it to pay for the rest of the bubble tea or we wont be able to have it on the fundraising day. which is bleh.
as for the schedule on fundraising day, do you want a very detailed plan or just randomly whoever wants to do what (everyone has to have initiative though) just do. like go around persuading people to buy the tea or who is gonna stay at the stall and man it. remember on YDF no one stuck to the schedule lah... so i dont think it matters really >< but if a lot of people want it i can draw up one :D
2. CLASS OUTING
based on what everyone has written on the schedule, it seems that its just about impossible to plan a full-day outing... and many many days have at least one person who cannot make it.
possible dates: 5/11, 14/11, 25/11, 27/11, 12/12, 15/12, 22/12, 24/12, 26/12
these are the dates which only two people or less cannot make it. (not counting cca) sadly with cca the number of people who can go is painfully little ><
ok.. anyway, i think we can just discuss this after the C&D practise on monday, since everyone should be turning up, but please do go and check your schedules first.

1. who can go collect the bubble tea on the 10th? or is anyone's parents willing to provide transport for the bubble tea to nanyang?

oh and i'd be emailing the teacher-in-charge of the fundraising... so hopefully some of our questions can be answered :D

We can't really take much from the classfund, because I've just paid the rest of the printing fees today and (BAD NEWS!) we only have about $4.00+ in the class fund now. The printing fees are highly expensive, yeah. :X We're broke now D:

I don't think we can buy a sufficient marshmallows with only $4 left in the class fund, so unless each of you are willing to pay more class fund (which I don't suppose you want to, it's the end of the year! ._.) to get enough money, then I suggest people who can afford to sponsor try to help as much as possible! i'm really sorry for any inconvenience caused, hope it's understandable cos of the amount of moeny left in classfund.

thanks to all generous sponsors for taking the initiative to sponsor! If it's convenient for you, perhaps you can get us some packets of marshmallows? (shihui, you can consider this instead of passing us the money) If you have some at home or it's okay for you to buy them, that is :) I think you can ask moony how many packets of marshmallows we need :D Plus if we need more quantities of cups and satay sticks anyone can bring if you have some at home too. I can bring some paper cups if it's not enough :)

for c&d fundraising...
bubble tea; the shop auntie said we can order there, they can cater. gin, donneed to check liao. we will probrably go over on friday to place an order and pay the deposit. just an example of their popular flavours, like green apple green tea, passionfruit milk tea, passionfruit red tea, peach red tea, lychee red tea, strawberry milk tea....
there's still somemore actually... so yeah. we will go and check them out, as for choosing the flavours will it be ok if we just see which flavours sound nice/ the auntie recommends or are popular there? i told them that we'd go and collect it at about 5p.m. on the day of the fundraising.. so no.1 i have no idea when we have to report for fundraising. it may be too late, but i can go confirm with the teachers and the bubble tea shop owner (but she says cannot be too early) no.2 is anyone's parents available to bring the bubble tea to nanyang? if not probrably like.. er.. a small group of us, maybe 3 can go and collect by taxi.
marshmallows... we'd have to go shopping soon (class fund! :D) sometime soon, anyway...
oh and shihui, i think sponsoring we dont need already, since we're paying from class fund. but if you have the basics, like cups or satay sticks (im bringing, but im not sure if its thin enough... it says bamboo skewers o.o) and you're fine with sharing then bring along bah.

hardly anyone has offered to sponsor anything of the C&D fundraising. apart from dom and laolao for the marshmallows. so does everyone want to use class fund? class fund can be more fair cause the money is coming from us anyway.
as for the bubble tea, i went to check with the bubble tea shop. they will confirm if they are able to accept the order sometime next week. so just in case we can look for other alternatives. we can still order from sweet talk, at like 1.50 per cup i think.
class outing. i only got replies from 11 people. the other people please email me the dates when you are not free. be it cca camp or vacations or whatever. it doesnt take long to open a new email, type some stuff and send it. if its unconfirmed then can roughly give me an estimation?

Here to tell you about GALILEO, which I'm currently quite high about :D Kay, firstly about Yukawa, whose real name is, erm, Fukuyama Masaharu. See this: Aside from being a talented actor, singer, and songwriter, he's also a skilled photographer and popular DJ/radio personality. LOL so cool right haha.

And, for GALILEO (2007), Yukawa [okay, fine, Fukuyama] got Best Actor for the 55th Television Drama Academy Awards. And, er, yeah. Also, he played a genius phsyicist in Yogisha X no Kenshin (2008), the big screen adaptation of the 2007 Fuji TV drama series Galileo in which he co-starred with actress and singer Shibasaki Kou [who's, by the way, Utsumi].

He wrote, composed and produced the movie's ballad theme, "Saiai," which was sung by Utsumi. Haha, how cool can that be?! Utsumi's role continued her winning run in the medium when she won "Best Supporting Actress" at the 55th Television Drama Academy Awards. GALILEO also won 5 other awards, including "Best Drama".

Feeling really bored now, and I'm sure all of you are too! Well, firstly, thanks to XUEDI for re-opening our class blog :D [Sounds like it's a shop previously under renovation haha] Secondly, hope you guys don't really mind me, yes me, deleting the class blog previously due to some misconceptions and stuff. Apologies. Lastly, hope all of you are having fun slacking through your well-deserved slacking time after enduring the dark days [eoys, I mean] :D

Okay, so, for those who are horribly bored currently or because you have played facebook till it's no longer of interest to you (highly impossible, but still), or perhaps you're like me who got bored so easily after just one day of slacking for me ): So yup I have a recommendation!

Log on to http://www.crunchyroll.com and watch GALILEO! (: It's a wonderful detective show which is absolutely marvellous. It's Japanese with English subtitles, and it consists of 10 episodes, each showing one case. Somehow I think that the current 9pm show (crime busters) derived certain of its ideas from this show [watch it and you'll know] so yup if you actually like crime busters, then you'll DEFINITELY love galileo (=

On a side note, the guy uses physics to solve all the cases, so um I guess it's quite good for improving/enriching science if you actually want to? Haha well please don't get turned off by this kay. It's a really FANTASTIC show. Yup, nicer than Huang Jin Lu :DDD

Do watch it if you have nothing better to do! :D (I sound like some advertisement... ><)

Okay since I'm quite tired now after watching 6 full episodes of galileo [great stuff!], I'm dedicating my time to posting on the class blog!! Hahaha. Well, the least I can do (: Hmm, I kinda miss school, don't you all? ): Well but the mere thought of receiving back papers just sends uh, shivers down my spine? Okay, fine, cliched I know.
