HELLO beloved 213-ers! I just wanna say a big thank you to all of you all for making this Chinese New Year super special and fun because we won the CNY decoration :D 1st in level woohoo~~~ Although the prizes weren't exactly spectacular but I think the process was really enjoyable. Last year our CNY class deco was rather slipshod and definitely not as pretty as this year's. But this year we worked together as a class to:
-Cut and staple all the hongbao fishes
-Cut and staple all the hanging from the window thingums
-Decorate the noticeboards
-Cut and put up all the 春s
-Hang and blu-tac all the ornaments onto the walls etc.
:D
I think it was a blast and we bonded over all the preparation and stuff:D So TYTY for making the classroom all pretty and festive:D oh and HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR:D

You know, I've realised that nowadays, quite a lot of people in our class are borrowing money often, so I've set up a system for the Loan of Money $$!

It's quite weird la, but at least it makes sure that people at least have enough money to eat (:
However (here comes the bad part), you have to return the money by 3 days! (i.e. If you borrow on Monday, you have to return it by Thursday) OR I'll have to fine you $0.50, and $0.50 for every two subsequent days.

Hello! You know for the PCCG lesson tomorrow, the first 25 minutes will be the games, the next 20 minutes discussion for the LSC. If you can, bring blindfolds, but if not, its ok, and the games will be held on the 4th level lift lobby if no one else is using it, cos the games would require quite some noise. Thanks. :)

hello thirteeners,
let's say, chinese new year is in... 15 days!!!!
and we have to start our class decoration as soon as possible.
so currently we have such ideas:
1) the notice board on the right hand side of the whiteboard will be draw with a grafiti-ed 213.
it will be done by all the artist ppl(xinyi, fang, dom and me) done with paint.
2) zouyan will write 春联 and they will be put up on either side of the doors and on the windows.
(see if it's facing on or out lah, i think facing in shld be more logical.)
3) for the back notice board, there will be cows done by dom. and we will roll ang baos and put
around the edge as a border. maybe we can write 新年快乐 or something. do ur all want cloth or paper???
4) angbaos make into lanterns and hang them on the other side windows. (i will probably do it.)
5) please if any of u have soft toys dressed in new year clothes bring them as well. and u can bring cows too. ( like my cowie)
6) please bring as many angbaos as u have and we will see whether we need it or not. thanks!

Anyway, after paying Boon Hui and Dominique, we have $94.50 in our treasury!
Which is a lot, no?

Hence, I shall try (and I say try) not to collect a lot of class fund for the next few months!
I'll collect class fund on the first Monday of every month (since most of you still have your pocket money then)!
I'll tell you beforehand how much, depending on how much money we still have!

Hello beloved 113 213-ers! Haha.. Its kinda weird that we're now 213 and we have juniors;D Just wanna say let's have a great 2009 ahead! This is probably the last year we'll have together as a class since there'll be people opting for HP and other subject combos in sec 3. So let's treasure the remaining time we have together as a class k? And as AV rep (*ahem*), I want to remind everyone to kindly switch off the PC and other IT equipment after usage and don't abuse the equipment (cause machines have feelings too~). YUPs. PS. I love our ulu classroom loads<3

D: And we're left with work instead! Well he didn't actually say work, he said 'I'll leave you something to do'. Which translates into 'WORK', doesn't it? o-o There'll still be philo on even week tuesdays though. :P

213’09 Class Goals
1) We shall be a bonded class and have lots of enthusiasm about everything we do as a class :D
2) We shall be good Nanyang girls and obey all the school rules… (which means absolutely no eating in class!)
3) We shall hand up our assignments on time and help make our subject reps’ lives easy :D
4) We shall aim to get A for cleanliness at least 75% of the time! (So do your duty dutifully :D)
5) We shall be wonderful seniors to our juniors :D Try not to abandon your mortals!

213’09 Class Rules
1) We will:
- Put our phone to silent mode / switch it off during curriculum time
- Refrain from eating/drinking sweet drinks in class
- Do duty (at least) 3 times a week (except for special weeks, when the cleanliness rep will specify the number of times we are supposed to do duty :D)
If we fail to do any of the above, we will have to pay $2 to the class fund (and Gin shall rejoice XD)
2) We will keep our individual work space clean and ensure that nothing is left on your table when we are dismissed
3) We will respect (and love) one another!


Yup so comment on the tagboard if you think a certain part needs to be rephrased or something :D Haha.
